This is my 1st and probably last Haircity purchase I have a large head - not shy to ask for a large wig cap which was done the moment i placed the order. The wig is machine sewn, no problem but the joining stitch for the cap and closure is too thick thus eating into my forehead. It's also very visible so I am wearing a headband to conceal it. I have had to cut into the wig cap as it is so uncomfortable and with the first wear (haven't washed it yet), light blow dry and straighten and it has started shedding :(

Absolutely. Our glueless design makes our wigs incredibly easy to wear, even if it's your first time. If you need any help, all our Hair City stores offer professional installation and styling support — and you receive 30% off your installation with every wig purchase.
Our standard wigs are already beautifully full and voluminous — perfect for an everyday glam look. If you prefer an ultra-full finish, you have two options:
- Upgrade to a Double Drawn wig for maximum density from root to tip
- Add a bundle to your order for extra volume and length
We recommend ordering your wig in your desired colour where possible. If you do wish to colour your wig, we recommend sticking to brown shades only and always having it done by a professional to ensure the best results and protect the integrity of the hair.
Washing
Use a sulphate-free shampoo. Wash after 15–20 wears or when there is product build-up. Apply conditioner and comb through with a paddle brush, always working from ends to roots. Rinse with lukewarm water and air dry.
Daily Maintenance
For wavy and curly hair, use a spray bottle with water to define curls. Use a leave-in conditioner for more defined curls. Before sleeping, loosely wrap your hair in a satin bonnet or sleep on a satin pillowcase. Place your wig on a wig stand when not in use.
Brushing
Always brush from the tips upward toward the roots — never from the roots down.
Heat Styling
You can straighten and curl your wig. Use a low heat setting of 120°C / 250°F and always apply a heat protectant spray before styling.

A customised wig has bleached knots, which makes the knots along the lace virtually invisible for a more natural hairline appearance. A non-customised wig has unbleached knots which are slightly more visible. For the most natural finish we recommend choosing the customised option.
